San Lau Street Serviced Apartments
Small spaces, refined living.
Hung Hom, Hong Kong
- Interior Design
This project involved the upgrade and redevelopment of 62 micro apartments within a newly constructed tower in Hung Hom, Hong Kong. The compact living units range from 170-square-metre studios to 300-square-metre one-bedroom apartments, supported by a comprehensive upgrade to shared amenities including a new street façade, entry lobby, clubhouse, gym, and all public areas.
The design adopts a light, minimalist approach, carefully calibrated to maximise the perception of space within highly efficient layouts.

Integrated appliances and concealed storage reduce visual clutter, allowing the apartments to read as calm, cohesive environments despite their compact footprints.
A refined material palette of timber flooring, crisp white walls, and subtle brass detailing introduces warmth and a sense of understated luxury. Modern finishes and thoughtful detailing elevate the experience of micro living, demonstrating how carefully considered design can deliver comfort, quality, and generosity within a highly constrained urban context.
