As an innovative optical retailer, the brand partners with established local optometrists to deliver progressive vision care and stylish eyewear within a welcoming, community-focused environment.
The store design introduces a new retail concept that balances clinical efficiency with warmth and approachability, while increasing the capacity of optometry services.
Spatial planning and customer flow were carefully considered to support both consultation and retail experiences, ensuring clarity, comfort, and ease of use.
A palette of warm, natural materials establishes a homely atmosphere, complemented by custom graphics inspired by the contours of the Australian landscape. These elements subtly reference Australian heritage and reinforce the brand’s signature roundel, creating a refined yet relaxed retail environment that reflects George & Matilda’s commitment to quality, care, and local connection.
