The renovation of the existing church and monastery being undertaken in the Haymarket, Sydney, has produced an environment that reflects updated liturgical practices and provide contemporary accommodation for the clergy.
The existing building was constructed in 1964, replacing an original church founded in 1953 on the site. This has been the first major renovations to the church and monastery in 45 years, with complete restoration of the church and renovation and upgrade of the monastery facilities. The restricted inner city site constrained the construction requiring careful monitoring of works and staging.
