Islamic College of Melbourne

Work continues on-site at the Islamic College of Melbourne: where shared facility buildings act together to form a protective ring, creating the 'heart' of the school.

The design response aims to develop a school that responds to site context: through sensitive orientation of buildings to the northern aspect, protection from prevailing winds, and at a scale that is respectful of future and existing building typologies.

The master plan aims to provide a strong engagement with the public realm, through contemporary architectural language, expressing progressive learning practices.
