Hoyts, Forest Hill
pmdl have been involved in the reconfiguration and refurbishment of Hoyts Forest Hill, Victoria. The project includes a refurbishment of the foyer spaces, to integrate with the overall general upgrade of the Centre (by Colonial First State), and to meet current patron service standards required by Hoyts. The work includes decor and fit-out to the public areas, as well as projection and sound technology update the cinema boxes, which presents the complex as a contemporary entertainment destination. At a conceptual design level, the finishes palette is warm and inviting, yet still imparts a feeling of lightness and brightness to the space, as it provides an integral link to the shopping centre. Hoyts Forest Hill opens to the general public early December 2010.
