IMAX, Darling Harbour
pmdl are involved in the next phase of retail additions at IMAX Darling Harbour, which will reach completion in December 2010. The new works consist of a three-storey extension to the North West corner, creating additional space for the existing tenants – Starbucks and The Meat & Wine Co. The design introduces a curved envelope, with elements of angled glass and steel columns complementing the existing building form and providing a more appropriate retail address for IMAX.
